Lauren Francis, P.A. was born and raised in an Illinois suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Quincy University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology and played softball. Following undergraduate, she worked in Quality Management of a local hospital. She gained experience before attending Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Midland, TX, graduating with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. She spent a brief time practicing in-patient psychiatry before moving to Arizona where she practiced Physical Medicine for 4 years. There, she gained knowledge in the physiologic components of pain and appropriate treatment strategies. Treatments include conventional medications and injections and often overlooked complementary therapies. She understands that often patients can benefit from a more holistic approach to their pain condition in order to control pain levels and prevent further progression of conditions. She has studied Functional Medicine which allows her to offer more natural pain solutions when appropriate. She has successfully applied these concepts to Interventional Pain Management for the past two years. Lauren is eager to partner with patients and develop treatment plans that allow them the quality of life they deserve.
In her spare time, Lauren spends time with her two rescue dogs, Jordy and Lambeau, traveling to visit family and friends and enjoys sports of all kinds.
